masculin noun for la rana.
Hi to all of mis amigos, here is my question about Spanish, please help me to explain it, thank you very much.
We all known that "la rana" or "la cebra" are the feminine noun. But the frogs aren't only females ones and how to say if I want to tell about a male frog, of course it is not "el rano" o "el cebro". right?

Hi, I'm not a native speaker, but if I wanted to speak specifically about the male frog, I would say la rana macho.
La rana is for male and female- la cebra es igual.
El macho de cebra es un semental de cebra.
It's a zebra stallion.
The word "rano" does exist. "Rana macho" is widely used though.
DRAE: rano.
Plus: "un cebro" is a species of an ass, (not a male zebra). I would say:"cebra macho" and "cebra hembra". (or semental, as it has been said).
Greetings.
