Translating poetry
Can somebody help me translate this small verse from El Gaucho Martin Fierro:
Soy gaucho, y entiendanló como mi lengua lo explica: para mí la tierra es chica y pudiera ser mayor; ni la víbora me pica ni quema mi frente el sol
I tried google translate but it came out rather awkward! Thanks!

There are some misconjugations and misspelling, which might be intentional. Also "Gaucho" cannot be translated, it is a South American term meaning someone who lives in the "Pampa" a grassy area mostly in Argentina but in parts of other countries as well. And note that "Tierra" capitalized means "Earth" but not capitalized as you have it here means "land/soil".
I am a gaucho and understanding it as my language explains it; for me the land is small and could be the largest; the snake doesn´t bite me nor does the sun burn my forehead.
