Why isn't "se" used here

"El niño saca fotos de la catedral." In all other sentences I see with the verb "saca" a "se" is used. How come the "se" is not used in this sentence?

In this case, there is no need for a se. (to explain why other times it does exist, you'd have to provide them)

In this case, The boy is taking fotos. It is a simple Subjects takes Object(s) construction. No passive or impersonal or reflexive se needed.

Sometimes, the reflexive se gives a feel of "for himself" but isn't absolutely necessary.
