Is there a difference in pronunciation between

casar and cazar ?

Yes. In Spain there is a difference unless the speaker uses ceceo or seseo.

In neutral Spanish:

  • Letter S in Casar sounds like S in the name Sandy. Audio:Casar.
  • Letter Z in Cazar sound like TH in the word Thin. Audio:Cazar

No. In most Latin American countries they sound as an "s".
