Palabra misteriosa "contoy"

Question

Hi, first post here. This is a word I must have picked up from spanish speakers and have used for years. Recently I tried to find the dictionary definition or translation and couldn't find anything, making me think that I'd been using a word that doesn't actually exist. I'm not sure of the spelling since I can't find it in print. The definition would be a variation of the word "con". I mentioned the word to a spanish speaker from central mexico, and was assured that the word does indeed exist. When I asked how it differs with simply "con", here is the example given, If you had some nuts and bolts you would describe it as tornillos con tuercas, If however, the nuts were attached to the bolts, you would say tornillos contoy tuercas. So it would be an alternate way to say tornillos con tuercas puestos in this example, I guess, Anyone have insight on this?

I've never heard that word either. From your nut-and-bolt example I guess:

• contoy ? con + to + y
• Con ? con
• to ? todo
• y ? y

Resulting: Con todo y... ? With everything and... But it sound a little bit strange. More examples of use are needed.

Maybe it is two words?

So maybe it is something like tornillos con ??? tuercas?

Like a word such as contigo?
