When learning something new, we agonize so much about how difficult it is. Of course we don't think about what's already inside our heads and homes! Enjoy learning!

Well then there are the Mexican's who are so polite that they absolutely hate to say no to anything, so they simply say yes and deal with it later, like mañana. It takes some getting used to.

Or ask directions and they will always tell you something, even if its completely wrong rather than say "I don't have any idea!"

Yet they are a people always willing to help. Friendly and outgoing. Willing to share what little they may have. Very generous.

I think every culture has its quirks and they are part of what makes life interesting living in a foreign land. So, I take yes to mean at best maybe and possibly no. And mañana is sometime in the near future but probably not tomorrow.
