I just saw this sentence and wondered if there's something I'm missing about sentences with hay + plural subject. Should it be disponibles? If not - why, what's the rule?

You're absolutely right. It must be disponibles. (plural) Because citas is plural. More examples:
- No hay ninguna cita disponible.
- ¿Hay alguna cita disponible?
- ¿Hay citas disponibles?
