Type each into the blue search box above on the toolbar. If there is a change from English to Spanish, it will show you. Remember to capitalize country names in English. Welcome to the site and the forum. - katydew, Sep 25, 2013

Los nombres de los países centroamericanos en español son:

Guatemala, Belice, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panamá.

Only switch the language on Wikipedia to Spanish and you'll see the official names in Spanish, however every official name in its own language appears in every article.

Notice that in Spanish Belize is Belice, since a grammatical rule is not to write a z before an e or i.

Normally people say Centroamérica to refer to Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica (which were one federation when they got the independence), and América Central to include Panamá and Belice, since there are historical differences among those countries.

Although Central America is many times considered part of the subcontinent called North America, political and culturally Central America has its own identity and you can't call people from those countries North or South American, they are Central American (centroamericanos), especially those from Centroamérica.

Central America (C.A.) is a bit larger than Spain or 1.25 times California, and is the home of 41 million people -or more-, as many as Argentina.

By the way: Central America is not located in the U.S.A.

Yes, you have spelled them correctly. "A" grade on spelling ability. However, the first letter of a country name should be capitalized, e.g. Nicaragua. You also need to use commas to clarify that they are the names of separate countries. "F" grade for poor presentation!
