Ratilla - slang? Quizás de Madrid?

Hi all,

Ran across the following phrase in a Spanish article, but can´t figure out what ¨ratilla¨ means in any of my usual sources. I suspect slang from Madrid, given the article is from and about something in that city, but I don´t know.

... he cogido, ni el abrigo más económico, ni el seguro más ratilla.

Anyone know this word. Context would make me think cheap or expensive, probably the latter, but I´m not sure.

Anyone know what the word means? Alguien me podría decir qué quiere decir la palabra?

You are correct.

rata=barato ratilla = baratillo

Cheap

lo más rata = the last of the bottom of the barrel.

no seas rata = don;t be a cheapskates
