Nine letter word Challenge - 16

Nine letter word Challenge - 16

8
votes

Nine letter word games are very popular in the English speaking world.

The idea is to make words of 3 or more of the given letters.

Usually it is possible to find a 9 letter word.

These are the letters for this challenge.

T I N

R E O

B L A

The letter highlighted must be used. E

Find an English or Spanish word and then write a sentence in English and Spanish.

Example:

We have to learn many hard lessons when young.

Tenemos que aprender muchas lecciones duras cuando son jóvenes.

For my nine letter word the poster will get 20 points eventually.

This was the previous challenge.

Laberinto - maze, labyrinth

When I was a child, maze games printed on (the back of) cereal boxes were my favourite morning passtime.
Cuando era niño, los juegos de laberinto impresos en la parte trasera de las cajas de cereales eran mi pasatiempo matutino favorito.

I've just rebembered I just remember reading the word maze in this thread, in a picture enclosed by user Ranman. That was a huge help - I didn't know that word. :^D

[Revise my English, please]

"Es un tipo de voz de canto masculina en la música clásica". You're talking about a type of voice and in English you place all adjectives before the noun, which is a very dynamic and powerful way to express things. - RelaxingCup, Sep 24, 2013
To translate you have to 'unravel' the sentence, to go backwards: it's a voice (una voz), singing voice (voz de canto), male (voz de canto masculina), and classical (voz de canto masculina en la música clásica). That's my best guess. - RelaxingCup, Sep 24, 2013
And my last suggestion: use just "voz" instead of "voz de canto" (that's what I wrote earlier trying to show you the whole process). "Voz de canto" feels redundant. - RelaxingCup, Sep 24, 2013
Sounds good to me :) - ian-hill, Sep 24, 2013
