The only result i had found was on wikianswers... which is exactly the problem...

... I want to translate gaming console into spanish. When i found an answer in spanish (consola de juegos) i wasn't sure if the answerer had just copied and pasted that from google translate for the sake of it.
Is that right??

- Consola de juegos.
- Consola de videojuegos.
- Videoconsola.
... are all valid options but the most common is to use consola(s) when the context (gaming and videogames) has already been established; just the same way console is used in English.
