Some masculine include- agua, heuvo, and pollo

Some Feminine include- uva, manzana, and espinacas

They mean water, egg, chicken, grape, apple, and spinach respectively.

Agua is femenine. It is used with "el" because start with tonic "a" an the article is just before the word, you would say "la clara agua" if the article is not beside the word and adjectives are always in femenine form. - caiser, Sep 23, 2013
