What is Norteñita? I cannot find the answer to this anywhere and I see the word in many places, usually taquerias or music videos.

I also once saw it to refer to a type of salsa, at one of the taco-bar happy-hour places that has about a gazillion styles of salsa. I think maybe not a common use at all, but when there´s that many, you have to stretch, or maybe use numbers. I´ll have a 37 is not all that enticing.

It is the diminuitive of Norteña. Someone from northern Mexico. Female of course.
