I enjoy discovering words and phrases that make speech more colorful and fun.

This post is Just for the fun of finding ways to use a word or a phrase, and expand vocabulary.

I hope you will try it.

Here is a word that we can have some fun with it is not very common.

Learners use any resource you wish to make your phrase. Post in English and Spanish

Mexicans will know this immediatly so please wait a bit for us learners to post.

The word is " Acechar" one of the uses is "to lie in wait with bad intention".

Do not confuse this word with "asechar"

Here is my example:

"En el siglo XIX los bandidos guarecidos en las montañas, acechaban las diligencias"

Don't trust the translator on this one.This is coming from Mexican Spanish.

Use it in any way you wish and lets see if we can have some fun with it.

Él hombre fue detenido por qué estuvo acechando a la actriz.

The man was arrested because he was stalking the actress.
