How do you type the upside down question mark? And what is that quotation mark called? When I do the typing recall it does not show the quotation mark in the options with the letter at the bottom. Thanks!

Hello allilelan,

Click the Q&A link at the top of the site (blue navigation bar) for listing all the questions. There, do you see that searching box just under the big green ASK A QUESTION button? Type the word mark in that box and push ENTER.

That question and similar questions have been already answered and they are waiting for you. I am not trying to be rude, but just trying to help you to take advantage of this useful site.

Welcome to SD!

Hi allilelan. On a Mac you press the option plus shift key and then the question mark option + shift + ? ¿ ¿. For the exclamation mark, it is option + the number 1 ¡¡¡ ¡. For the ñ it is option + n ññ ñ . The sign appears first ˜ and then you press the n ññ . It is the same for the u double dot ü ü (option plus u ü, For the other accents it is option + e plus your letter like this. option + e and then a, e, i, o, or u. á,í, ó, é, ú. Remember, the accent appears first ´and then the letter. é. For a capital letter, option Á option + e + shift then your letter. Ó. Good luck!.
