Sueñas conmigo

Sueñas conmigo

I know that sueñas conmigo basically means dream about me. I was wondering if that's a phrase commonly used with friends. Or is it used romantically? Thanks!

Pero si yo sueño de usted ,tal vez será romántico.

But if I dream of you maybe it will be romantic. In the nicest possible way of course.

Welcome to SD mate , that was a good question well worth the ask , good luck.

This is an imperative expression and very common: "Que sueñes conmigo" (dream of me).

If you want to tell someone that you had a dream about them: "Soñé contigo".

These are both for romantic senarios.

In a non-romantic senario I would say "Te vi en un sueño".

Thanks. I had never associated conmigo/contigo with anything other than "with me/you". So the "of" usage is new to me. - gringojrf, Aug 28, 2013

Ray gave you another way to express that thought. You are more advanced in Spanish than I am but, I believe "sueñas conmigo" means "dream with me" which could be used romantically. It could also be used in another context. Martin Luther King said "I have a dream." I think that "dream with me" was part of his intent.

"sueñas conmigo", as kirk1 said means "dream with me" .

To me is sounds more like a political slogan than something said by lovers.
