Front and back, of a flyer

Hello.

There are lots of words for front, and back. What are the correct ones to use when referring to the respective sides of a flyer?

¿La portada?? That works well for the front of magazines, anyway. No suggestions for the back.

Delantera y trasera??

Just a guess. These are the terms used here in Mexico for the front and rear license plates on cars.

I found this in a recap of a front page article from a newspaper. They used the word "portada" for front page.

Yeah, portada has that specific meaning - it doesn't work for the front of a piece of paper. - afowen, Aug 25, 2013
In simple terms cara y espalda? - gringojrf, Aug 25, 2013

I tried to research this a little but got really bogged down with various fronts, backs, inverse, face and so on. This is one of those question that I like to ask my friend, librarian and Bolivian born American, but I cannot contact her today, so I will wait and see what a native speaker says. Did you find anything that made sense?

Thanks. That's why it's best to let the natives answer. I used respaldo for the back (99% certain that it's correct) and parte delantera for the front, which makes sense but I'm not sure as to how natural it is... - afowen, Aug 25, 2013
