Otra vez etc

Otra vez etc

Hi all,

I´d originally learned again as otra vez, but I´ve also seen both ¨de nuevo¨ and ¨de vuelta¨

Can I use both of those latter two as again in most contexts too?

Thanks Roger

de nuevo - yes. I have not heard de vuelta but it kind of makes sense.

I think there are nuances as to when to use otra vez and de nuevo.

I use both. Sometimes one just feels more natural than the other.

otra vez and de nuevo mean the same. De vuelta it isn't good, really. - chileno, Aug 25, 2013

"De vuelta" es una expresión bastante informal, un poco de la calle. Se entiende, pero te recomendaría no usarla. "De nuevo" y "otra vez" son más normales y usuales, y por lo general intercambiables.
