Let it be noted that I neither agree no disagree , I say this to dispel any unnecessary and possibly incorrect aspersions as to my alienation of, or inclination to one side or the other , any attempt to color me with a politically incorrect viewpoint may result in my removal to a dark corner to sob gently but with purpose. May the force be with you.

The first part of the translation sounds good, yet the second part I don't know. I would say something like: "son los que resulten del matromonio". It would be great to get the opinion of someone that would know for sure.:) - bettytf, Aug 24, 2013
I've been thinking on it but I do not understand the second part in English. If 'marry into' means 'acquire through marriage'. "son los que obtuvieron con su matrimonio" is a pretty literal translation but it still holds that meaning. - 003492fc, Aug 25, 2013
pair of horses in a team , or two pieces of wood or metal , but in this instance it means a marriage between two people , which can make them soar to heaven or dwell in h e l l . - ray76, Aug 25, 2013
@atxwko, It is not a serious statement , but if you examine that many marriages fail and their members are exceedingly unhappy , then it is correct , but it could also be taken to mean something else , the word marry has many meanings , you can marry a - ray76, Aug 25, 2013

You can marry for money or for happiness but seldom for both.

Agreed mate , and i believe that one should also be on an equal footing in most things , but definitely financial. - ray76, Aug 24, 2013
My father used to say ," never go out with anyone who has less to lose than you have". He was perhaps a man too practical , but a man of his day. - ray76, Aug 24, 2013

One man (A) talking to another (B).

A. So, how did you become so rich? (Entonces, ¿Cómo te hiciste tan rico?)

B. I blame my wife for becoming a millionaire. (Soy millonario por culpa de mi esposa.)

A. Why does it sound like a bad thing? I wish I could blame my wife for the same thing.

B. Because before I met her I had more than a billión.

Hope you enjoyed the joke.

In the words of Jimmy Soul: If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife.

That construction is way over my head, so I probably got it wrong even using the translator. Correction appreciated.

All of the troubles that some people have in life

are caused by being married to the wrong wife.

Sorry folks for that jaundiced opinion but I can't imagine a worse fate and "spouse" does not rhyme with "life"

So cast your nasturtiums my way.

When two people marry, they agree to weather life's hardships together.

She had many secrets that she hid

and already had a kid

She wasn't jumping out of the frying pan

just to meet another man.

She felt if she was alone

Then she could control life on her own.

He was a small guy;

average height, and very shy.

He just had a heart attack

A few months back.

His girlfriend had gone away

Leaving him many bills to pay.

His life was becoming grey

Until he met her one day.

Developing a giant crush.

when he saw her he would blush.

He wanted to ask her out

But he still had his doubt.

His friends teased him a lot

Until finally he gave it a shot.

She knew that he was nice

So they went out to eat twice.

Eventually they married

And all their burdens together they carried.

There is a great Bible scripture that says something about it being better to be alone than with a troublesome wife.I couldn't find it this morning ,perhaps you know the one I am paraphrasing.
