My grandma used to say that to me - pmikan-pam, Aug 20, 2013
This is a good one. And difficult to translate.

I have been maried to the same man for 35 years, and I think it's because he is a very silent man.

I'm going to try to put a positive spin on a rather negatively-phrased American saying: "If Mama ain't happy, ain"t nobody happy."

If you want to be happy, make sure Mama is happy.

Please correct my Spanish.

Only three of four things? Es muy poco.

Solo tres o cuatro cosas? That's very few.

I thought I would mix them up. lol

I agree saying something nice can make someone fall in love all over again.

My husband is a quiet man. We both know our responsibilities in the marriage.

Mi marido es un hombre tranquilo. Ambos sabemos nuestras responsabilidades en el matrimonio.

A mother's letter to her child.

Please be wary

before you marry

If you've found the one

who you think is fun

you should still wait

and get to know your mate.

Do you like every trait

and think this person is great?

Then by all means, set a date.

But when you finally wed

will you leave things unsaid?

Will issues be blurred

or will you be heard?

Communication is wise

You both must realize.

Because emotions will rise

through life's lows and highs.

always encourage,

not discourage

don't nag each other

like an overbearing mother

I beg you two lovebirds,

Always use kind words!

The best way to win an arguement with a woman is to let her have the last word and think that she has won.

Hola Andre...if she gets the last word, I believe she may have won :-) - 0095ca4c, Aug 21, 2013
Mate, Maaaaate, she has won , make no mistake about it , your words have confirmed it. - ray76, Aug 21, 2013
Just a little joke, but who said anything about listening to the last word? So what did she win, an illusion of winning. He gets out of the arguement that is a win in its self. - 00551866, Aug 21, 2013

Those words are very wise, but some times, (even many times), it's a very difficult thing to do. Very good advice, Ray.
