Please provide a context (and/or example) so I can give you a better translation. - 003492fc, Aug 20, 2013
"I will finish it" meaning i will finish the course in September - loucarroll73, Aug 20, 2013
There are more ways to say something in Spanish and English. For example, you can also say "I am going to finish the course." See below. - Raja-jani, Aug 20, 2013
Yes what you say is correct, however the sentence that preceded this one was "I started the course in February" therefore in this instance it would probably make more sense to say and "will finish it in September" - loucarroll73, Aug 22, 2013

This is Spanish. "Voy a terminarlo" = I am going to finish it. Although literally in English, "Voy a terminarlo" = I go to finish it. I hope you understand the difference.

You get my vote because there is a big difference between I will finish it ( determination) and I'm going to finish it ( sometime.. Maybee, if I feel like it..) - annierats, Aug 20, 2013
Annie you haven't met them. Often those who say "I will finish it", don't do it. - Raja-jani, Aug 21, 2013

Good one. - 003492fc, Aug 20, 2013
Thanks but i think it might need to be in the future tense - loucarroll73, Aug 20, 2013
"Voy a terminarlo" = "I am going to finish it" = future :) - ian-hill, Aug 20, 2013
would be incorrect to say "lo terminaré"? - loucarroll73, Aug 20, 2013
"Lo terminaré" is also correct. - 003492fc, Aug 20, 2013
thank you :-) - loucarroll73, Aug 20, 2013

Couldn't you also say "Lograré terminarlo"? Lograr, to me, would indicate the effort involved.

I totally agree. That`s why I asked for a question a little bit more elaborate. - 003492fc, Aug 20, 2013
