Learning a Language: Standardized Tools + Live Conversation
We at www.lingo-live.com are curious to know what tools you all are using as language learners to complement live lessons you may be having with us or with another site like Verbling, italki, or any other language exchange sites.
The reason I ask is we are trying to ensure we build the right tools to supplement our live online lessons with our Spanish instructors. Many students take live lessons, then use apps like Duolingo, SpanishDict, or others to work on vocabulary, grammar, or other standard concepts they need to practice. Do any of you have experience learning Spanish with a live tutor? If so, what tools or apps do you use in addition to the live tutor? Why do you use these particular apps... what specific function do they serve that is better than doing so with the live tutor?
