It is certain that they will get lost.
It makes no odds if the thinker is male or female, seguro refers to the fact that they are sure to get lost.

If you put this sentence in the translator as I did the examples were confusing. I think seguro is not the word to begin with. I think Estoy seguro que se pierden. makes better sense because it means I am sure (that) they are lost. There is no verb segurar -er, ir so seguro is not the first person singular. If you are male you say estoy seguro, if female, estoy segura.
