When the music swells

Question

I need to translate a song composed by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart and sung by Jane Froman.

There is one line of lyrics which says. When the music swells, (I am touching yourf hand)

I would like to get the word for swells in Spanish which I presume mean more intense and reaching climactic part of the song.)

I would appreciate any assistance you can give.

That would be "With a Song In My Heart". That's a tough one. Richard Rodgers and friends didn't do us any favors on this one. I don't think a translation of "swell" is going to work. The music does not actually swell. Maybe a translation of rises such as "asciende". What do you think?
