chistoso/-a vs. gracioso/-a

Question

I just learned these two words, both of which mean "funny". So, what's the difference between them, or how do you use them?

I have always thought of chistoso as someone who jokes around alot. Whereas gracioso is more of a general sense of funny, could be ironic funny.

But after just looking up the definitions there doesn't seem to be any distinction.
