Hola, all!

I am VERY confused. When I imputed the word "vino" into the spanishdict translator, I found that it meant wine. But in a workbook I was doing, there is a sentence that says "tambíen vino mi amigo" Alas, wine does not make sense- I think?

Please help. Thanks so much!!!

Yes, vino means wine. However, it is also a conjugated form of an irregular verb. Click the "Conjugate" tab at the top of the page and then put in "vino" and you will get your answer.

I once saw vino tinto translated as 'he came I dye', although they had managed, on the same menu, to translate vino blanco correctly...
