"Qué" and "De qué"

I would like to know the differences between "qué" and "de qué" in terms of parts of speech and usage (All I know is "qué" is an interrogative pronoun).

Background: I was able to find some information about the differences in parts of speech and use between "que" and "de que" (no accent marks). But, I have not been able to find anything about the difference between "qué" and "de qué" (with accent marks).

The information I found about "que" and "de que" says that the first is a relative pronoun, the latter a conjunction. Also, I read that if "which" is substituted for "that" and the sentence still makes sense, then "que" should be used instead of "de que".

Now, I would like to know about "qué" and "de qué". The information I found on "que" and "de que" (no accent marks) doesn´t seem to apply to "qué" and "de qué" (with accent marks).

As far as I know you use the accent marks if they are functioning as interrogative pronouns. ¿Qué deseas? What would you like (what is interrogative)

¿De qué depende? What does it depend on? (on what is interrogative).

When they are not in questions you don't need the written accent marks.
