Miles and kilometers
Okay, I saw a sign this morning that got me thinking about this one.
In the US and a few other places we use miles, in Mexico we use kilometers.
So in the US we ask: What kind of mileage do you get?
In Mexico it is: What kind of kilometraje do you get?
So how would you translate mileage into Spanish?
Please no cheating. No search engines, no dictionaries, etc. Just think about it and take a guess.
My guess was millaje. W R O N G ! ! !

Kilometraje?
Que caminaría mil millas por una de sus sonrisas.
This may answer your question. Es milaje.

¿Cuantos miles por litro? ( We don't do gallons any longer, Gring, although I think they are in the region of 4.3 litres to a gallon and a kilometer is a bit less than one and a half miles..)
There are 8 furlongs to the mile.
There are 4 inches to the hand.
I hope I have clarified everything now!
Cuantos litros por 100?
What do you mean by thousands and kilómetros?

The word millaje o millage does not exist, but one of those would have to be used if we didn't use kilometraje/kiómetros.
C?
Cuantos miles? How many miles?
I think the answer is kilometraje because they don't use miles, thus they don't have a word for it.
