Please correct my sentence.
I guess that one has to first define both riches and inheritance .
As well as , what is considered as being "poor".

The greatest inheritance someone can give to their children are their values, beliefs and principles for a better life. La mayor herencia que alguien puede dar a sus hijos son sus valores, creencias y principios para una vida mejor.
Cuando mi papá se murió, pensé mucho en el significado de la vida. Empezé a leer libros espirituales. Lo que empezó como una época oscura en realidad abrió mi corazón a nuevas ideas. Sentí que tenía una meta en la vida otra vez.
When my dad died, I thought a lot about the meaning of life. I started reading spiritual books. What started out as a dark time actually opened my heart to new ideas. I felt that I had a goal in life again.
I wrote this poem right after he died.

A blue light shimmers bright
even though it is night.
The crescent moon is far too small
to create the sparkles beginning to fall.
The animals in the forest echo warning.
I hear my dad plead, "No more mourning!"
He tells me he is near
With everyone, everywhere.
His heart is giant, full of love.
That's why he glimmers above.
He has passed all of his tests
which is why his body now rests.
His spirit flows with absolute freedom
even though we can't see him.
I'm so happy that the people in my orbit have a different definition of success. One that is sustainable and obtainable, in this lifetime.
