arcoiris definition help!!

I never thought this would happen, but it looks like Spanishdict missed out on a word. : p
I think by context it's a rainbow, but I'm not too sure. Can someone help?

Your hunch is right. I used the dictionary the other way around to translate "rainbow".and got 'el arco iris", the arc or bow followed by iris which is, in both English and Spanish, the colored portion of the eye forming an arc or circle around the pupil or also translated as rainbow..
