Qué significa 'Tú no estás de rodillas.'

Is this a Spanish idiom? I saw this sentence on another spanish site, 'Learn Spanish.' Does it mean something like,'You are not of/from knees.' or what?

We used to say , " he would bend his knee to no man " It could mean he was proud , or very haughty. Good question mate. - ray76, Jul 26, 2013

'Tú no estás de rodillas.'

It means "you are not on your knees."

Depending on context, it can be used to say "you are not humble enough / you should be begging me" or "you are not poor."

Note: Ponte de pie ... Stand up / Ponte de rodillas .... Get on your knees.

If I were to take a wild guess, I would say it means, 'you are not on your knees.' - Maria-Russell, Jul 26, 2013
