Taking college credit Spanish tests

Taking college credit Spanish tests

Hi. I am new to this forum and this site. My stepson is trying to test out of Spanish II and III to graduate from college. These are the last credits that he needs. Is this a good place to send him? Are there any other suggestions you may have? We are open to all, including signing up for Rosetta Stone, if need be. Thanks in advance for any help!

Spain The U.S. has a set of National Spanish Exams that you may be able to get the college to accept the results of the tests. The tests are given in many different places.

He may be taking the CLEP test? Is that what you are speaking of? I would recommend he take it, as you can earn up to 12 credits with it. Many colleges accept the credit for it, but you will need to check with the individual school he is attending to be certain. If he is taking the CLEP, I may be able to provide you with some CLEP specific resources, as I have taken a number of the exams, not the Spanish one in particular, but the test are all set up somewhat similarly.

"Is this a good place to send him?" Anyone can certainly learn Spanish here but the it sounds like he needs to be evaluated in his progress. This would be a good place to review and practice, but for more precise evaluation you may want to look elsewhere. Please let us know here what you found that was helpful. This is a good place to share knowledge.
