"broma" or "chiste"?

Question

I would like to write a sentence "He likes to play jokes on me." When I used the SD translators, what I got is "Le gusta jugar bromas sobre mí." But when I looked up the word "broma", the example sentence it gave me is "gastar bromas a mí". Also, another word for "joke" is "chiste". So, here are my two questions:

1. How to say "He likes to play jokes on me" correctly?
2. What's the difference between "broma" and "chiste"?

Le gusta gastarme/hacerme bromas.
Chiste is a funny story a spoken joke. Broma is a joke you play on someone.
