As the title implies, I need to know how to say, "You did a very good job; thank you!" in Spanish.

A common short form (or two) would be.
Muy bien hecho, muchas gracias.
or
Muy buen trabajo, muchas gracias.
I hear them a lot as brief exchanges among racers and team members, and they´re probably just phrases (sentence fragments) rather than full sentences.
The natives probably have some better ideas, but this is a start.
Has hecho/hiciste un buen trabajo, gracias.
