How to rewrite sentences using both pronouns

Voy a escribir un poema a Elena.

Direct Object (what are you writing?) = un poema = lo

Indirect Object (to whom are you writing?) = a Elena = le

Voy a escribírlelo. You can't have "le" and "lo" together, so "le" changes to "se" and it becomes:

Voy a escribírselo. -or- Se lo voy a escribir.
