Hey,

It's that time of the week! We have made it through the first Month! Thanks for the participation, I have really enjoyed these stories

The next story by Horacio Quiroga is EL PASO DEL YABEBIRI.

Do you have any questions/comments/concerns about the story?

Did you enjoy the story?

You could include a picture if you'd like, to help illistrate.

What were some words that you didn't understand?

If someone wants to make flashcards that would be great if not this is a good place to put vocabulary

Memrise seems to be really good for our flashcards

Most importantly, this is about learning, So, don't feel bad if you don't know what something means. Write that word down, look it up, and guess what? You will have learned something. Try to remember to vote for others, to encourage them. We do a prettty good job of that already.

Good Luck!

Hope you enjoy this story!

Here is the link to download the pdf:

Feel free to post in Spanish/English or a combination of both.

I'm quite late with reading this story but I guess this was the last one before your summer vacation, Jessica? Then I have all summer for it, haha. Era un cuento sangriento y había una batalla épica! Y por supuesto los tigres eran los malos una vez más. No sabía que la palabra "zorro" significa "fox", esto me hizo sonreír. Y por primera vez puedo decir que no hay oraciónes que no entiendo, ¡hurra!

I'll repeat what other people already said: thank you, Jessica, for organising this reading group. Many thanks to the Spanish speakers who helped us along the way, this wouldn't have been possible without you. Have a great summer and hopefully see you all again when we restart the reading sessions!
