Remember that como can also mean "like, as"
El chico quiere ser policía como su papá. The boy wants to be a police officer like his dad.
and can be used to talk about what people or things are like
¿Cómo es el vestido? not "Which dress is it?" but ""What is the dress like?"

I would add that in Spanish Como is not the same as Que (like in What), but you have to interpret it as such. See? - chileno, Jun 13, 2013

"Que" is often used as "that","which'"or "what". "Como" is often used as "as" or "how" and not as "which".
