I was talking to a native Spanish speaker through an app and he kept replying to a lot of stuff with just sii. What does that mean?

Nada. Sii no significa nada. sii = Yess

Remember, like English speakers when they text. They will shorten things.
Hw r u? - How are you? Ye - Yes Wuut - What are you up to? (Literally, what are you doing at the moment?) He or she is probably just saying, "Yeahhhh, ayeeee, yeppppp, yesssss."
They will tend to say things like;
Q for "que" Tmb for "también" etc.
