Please advise me when to use the Presente perfecto progresivo and give me examples.

I have been teaching English.

He estado enseñando Inglés.

Note:

The continuous forms are not used as much in Spanish as in English.

Ian-hill provided an example, but something I want to stress is that progressive tenses are used only in Spanish to stress that the actions is happening at this very second. Plus, many people prefer to use the regular present tense most of the time.
