Please correct my sentence . ( Pero no dame una sentencia.)

Could you explain this quote and offer any opinions as to its veracity.

If you expect nothing, at least you'll have no disappointments. Expectations order your world, but surprise shakes it up for excitement.

I think it means live with, and accept, what you have both the good and the bad.

'vivir frugalmente en sorpresa' - para mí, significa que es mejor saber tu camino en la vida; no te engañe por las situaciones inesperadas.
