Well it's got a good combination of the holy/celestial etc. and sports pedigree. Anyone named Angel Valenzuela should do well in life. Particularly if he has a good curveball.

Seems like a John Smith name in english. If you google angel valenzuela you get a gazzilion proper names. It is a very popular name.

No, that was Fernando Valenzuela, a great pitcher from Mexico who became a star with the LA Dodgers in the early 80s, but "Angel Valenzuela" certainly sounds like someone's name.
