When saying "I will meet you at the bridge" why are translations consistently in the third person. Example: Yo se reunirá en el puente or lo encontrará?

What not reuniré or encontraré?

It should be the first person, I will meet you there = Me encontraré/reuniré contigo allá.

You'll find that the pronominal encontrarse is often used for an arranged meeting instead of just encontrar, but not always lol.

Also remember in Spanish the present tense is often used to refer to the near future.

I will meet you there = Te encuentro allá.

Or just - nos vemos allá.

As it is in English too right Kiwi? I leave tomorrow - I am leaving tomorrow etc. - ian-hill, Jun 1, 2013
Sure but even more so in Spanish for example you couldn't say in English 'I am calling you tomorrow' but 'the llano mañana' is perfectly fine in Spanish. - Kiwi-Girl, Jun 1, 2013
