Google ASCII table. Hold alt and enter the number for the symbol @.

The @ symbol obviously would be on just about every keyboard in the world but some keyboards are different enough to prove challenging to someone who has not used a particular keyboard before..I was waiting for a connecting flight in the Paris De Gaulle airport one time and needed to send an email telling the people who were going to meet me at the airport in Italy that I would be late due to a flight cancellation. I had to ask someone how to type the @. On a Spanish keyboard, I believe it is on the '2' key just like the American keyboard but you have to hold down the right Alt key.

I use the Spanish (Spain, International Sort) keyboard, so I press AltGr (the Alt to the right of the Space Bar) and 2 to get an @. @ is called arroba in Spanish. Hope this helps!
