HI, how do you say "stop doing that" to a child who wont leave things alone. thank you

Talking to a child, we ofter say as Jessica mentioned ¡Deja de hacer eso! also ¡Deja de molestar! / ¡Estate quieto! Referring to a specific thing: ¡Deja eso ya! / ¡Ya no toques eso! etc, etc.

¡basta ya! - it isn't word for word but it's probably the closest equivalent, it literally means 'it's enough already'

This is a verb, so it dejar must be congugated.

If they won't stop touching things, maybe you can use ¡No tocas! No touching. I hear that screamed in the grocery store all the time. Also, kids usually respond to one or two word phrases a little better than sentences.
