Is there a method on being able to make the double "rr" sound in spanish? I am trying really hard to get this down but nothing seems to work. Thanks

Try

"Erre con Erre cigarro, Erre con Erre barril, rápido corre los carros por las rieles del ferrocarril"

something like that

Huangamura, I have tried my entire life to roll my rrr's, but to no avail - I'm 56. If you can already do it, of course it's easy. I could never make that cute purring sound a cat makes. I lived in Scotland for 21 years, and could never make that lovely rolling rrrrr sound they make. Still, I plan to keep trying. Maybe some day... It's on my bucket list. enter image description here

On the other hand, I can fingers-in-mouth whistle louder and longer than anyone I've ever heard. It took a lot of practice a long time ago, but hey, why can't you do it? Huh? Huh? It's easy. lol

Can you imitate the thrilling sound the Irish do?

ie:

me friend

are you there.

Or in a fast d or fast t like in ladder or butter?

Note where is it that the tip of your rests when saying that d or t etc...

that will be your starting point. let the tip of your tongue rest in that position and let it flap as you blow air through that opening.

If you need more help, contact me on Skype, my name there is chileno74

You will also need a camera not only a mic, because I want to see your mouth etc. etc...
