Hi and thank you in advance for any help. I am on my last paragraph and unsure if the answer I have is correct. . January first was my birthday. I turned 16 years old. We were having a picnic when it began to rain. We went in the house. My mother told all of my relatives that when I was born I was a big baby. I saw many gifts for me. My aunts bought me a new dress. I wore the pretty purple dress at my party. We all had cake. My father was telling jokes when we heard the fireworks. We left the house and saw them. It stopped raining.
Answer: El primero de enero fue mi cumpleaños. Me volví 16 años. Estábamos teniendo un día de campo cuando empezó a llover. Entramos en la casa. Mi madre le dijo a todos mis familiares que cuando nací yo era un bebé grande. Vi muchos regalos para mí. Mis tías me compré un vestido nuevo. Me puse el vestido púrpura en mi fiesta. Todos teníamos pastel. Mi padre estaba contando chistes cuando oímos los fuegos artificiales. Salimos de la casa y los vio. Dejó de llover.

Maybe "les dijo" here? To make number match with todos mis familiares, if that's the way you're going to express that.
Mis tías me compré un vestido nuevo.
Maybe "me compraron"
They, the tias, are doing the buying, not you, so use the 3rd person plural for them doing so, compraron.
