Should i use haciendo or durmiendo?
maybe this question sounds dumb but im just a bit confused

I think it can be
Estoy tomando una siesta.
I am taking a nap.
But wait for a native speaker because I am not sure if the progressive can be used without a "to be" verb in Spanish. It usually isn't in English.

Me estoy tomando / echando una siesta although it really can´t be said if you are asleep, so it would sound more natural to use future tense just before siesta.

En España se dice muchas veces: echarse una siesta o echar una siesta.
Creo que es correcto decir: Ya estoy echándome una siesta.
Creo que en America Latina se dice dormir una siesta.
