Subtítulos interesantes

Me vi la nueva "Total Recall" ahora. Muy interesante que los subtítulos en español no exacto con que me escuché en español. ¡Vámonos! - ¡Aprisa! . . . creación en tu mente. - . . . tu fantasía y mucho más.

I watched the new "Total Recall" just now and it was interesting that the Spanish subtitles were not the same as the Spanish dialog.

Eso es mi primera ves me vi una película en español con subtítulos de español.

This is the first time I have watched a movie in Spanish with Spanish subtitles.

Subtitles are never exactly the same, whether translated or not, it's not possible to read at the same speed and subtitles are always shortened a bit.

But sometimes they include nice information, such as, Spanish subtitles for the deaf include mentioning 'Knock , knock' at the door or 'ring , ring' of the phone..

I watched the new "Total Recall" just now and it was interesting that the Spanish subtitles were not the same as the Spanish dialog.

This happens a lot. One reason is because a movie might be using Spanish from Mexico, for example, but the subtitles will be a neutral translation. Or as annierats suggests, they could be written to help keep up with the dialog in the movie.

I just thought is was intersting seeing the two ways to say the same thing. - 00551866, May 31, 2013
