Hi Jade,

Everyone here is to learn or teach the beautiful Spanish language. Everyone here who is not a native speaker has started at some moment learning Spanish and therefore know how difficult it can be to try to understand a language you have never studied before. We are all here to help eachother, to encourage eachother, to make jokes and even, in difficult times, express our feelings about the trouble we're in.

Since I have been around here I've made a lot of Internet-friends, distant but always there.

Learning Spanish is an adventure, to discover a new world of grammar, words, phrases. Eventually you'll get there, with all the corrections given.

then,.... ¿Cómo está? needs two accents. One on cómo because it's a question, Está (he/she/it is) because it is a verb while esta is translated as "this". The accents are very important to make a distinct between certain words/verbs/emotions and actions. While learning try to make sure you don't forget the accents, or you'll end up saying other things you didn't mean to say.

I Hope this will help.

greetings Aran.

Hello Jade. When I started learning Spanish, I didn't know much either. Basically, it was just "Hola" and other small greetings. Over the past 2 months, I have expanded my vocabulary by a TREMENDOUS amount, I don't know how I've been able to do it so quickly. I use help from this website, Google Translate and www.123teachme.com I also get help from books. I know greetings, coplours, animals, food, grammar, many many nouns and I'm learning more everyday. I'm an intermediate Spanish speaker. If you do what I do (I'm 15 by the way), you will progress loads! Just read books and Google "Learn Spanish online free", you're bound to find a lot. Beuna suerte!

I find it one thing writing the verbs and conjunctions but another thing altogether actually speaking them in a conversation; why is this?
