niño/niña, chico/chica, muchacho/muchacha
Please tell me the differences among niño/niña, chico/chica, muchacho/muchacha. In general, how old are they respectively?

Niño is child, muchacho is teen, and chico I have heard used the same as muchacho and also young man.
Well like everyone else says except now I have started watching Extra español they keep using chico/chica and they are young adults so I guess chica can be used instead of señorita when used in an informal way.
niño/niña is used as child as the masculine and feminine forms respectively. chico/chica is used as a boy/girl respectively and muchacho/muchacha is used as a teen in the masculine and feminine forms.
Exactly in every which way it is used in English.
